Every celebration deserves something sweet, and our handcrafted cakes — freshly made in our Ilam bakery — deliver just that.
Our standard range includes three popular flavours: chocolate, banana, or vanilla. Each cake stands at a classic 3-inch height and is finished with chocolate icing, delicate rosettes, and rich truffles.
For something more personalised, we also create custom-designed cakes with a chocolate or vanilla base, finished in buttercream or fondant. Pricing varies depending on the intricacy of the design.
And to cater for larger gatherings, we now offer cakes up to 40cm by 40cm — perfect for parties and events.

Fresh cream gateaux
Village Bakehouse’s French Gâteaux are made the traditional French way — from scratch — with real eggs, flour, sugar, and cocoa powder, then layered with fresh cream and delicious fillings.
Flavours include classics like Chocolate, Black Forest with cherries, Blueberry, Coffee, and Brandy. Each one is crafted to be rich yet delicate, perfect for sharing with family and friends.
As most of our gâteaux are made to order, we can tailor them to suit your preferences.
